Our Advocacy
Protecting Florida's Beaches
Save Our Beaches PAC is dedicated to protecting and expanding public beach access so that every family, resident, and visitor can continue enjoying Florida's beautiful coastline. We advocate for responsible policies that preserve public access while respecting private property rights and protecting our coastal environment.
Advocating for Public Beach Access
Our organization works to educate the public, support commonsense legislation, and encourage civic engagement on issues affecting beach access across Florida. We believe beaches should remain places where children build sandcastles, families make lifelong memories, and future generations experience the natural beauty that makes Florida unique.
Preserving Our Coastal Heritage
Save Our Beaches PAC brings together citizens, community leaders, and advocates who believe public beach access benefits everyone. By promoting thoughtful solutions and working with elected officials, we strive to preserve Florida's beaches as a shared treasure for recreation, tourism, and future generations.
A Victory for Florida's Beaches
On June 24, 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 1622 into law, restoring local governments' authority to recognize recreational customary use of Florida's beaches and repealing the 2018 law that had significantly limited those protections. The legislation marked an important step toward preserving long-standing public beach access traditions while helping communities protect and restore their coastlines. Save Our Beaches PAC supports efforts that strengthen public access and believes SB 1622 represents meaningful progress for Florida families.
